Signal 73 is proud to be presenting our Electric Vehicle & Lithium-Ion Battery Emergencies Class for the Sleepy Hollow Fire Department’s 150th Anniversary Educational Seminar. This is Instructor Bryan Doyle’s (Squad 18, Fire Department City of New York) signature class on EV’s & Lithium Ion. The topics covered in this instruction are:

-EV Identification Vehicle Anatomy.
-Lithium-ion battery behavior and thermal runaway.
-Fire attack considerations and limitations.
-Cooling versus extinguishment tactics.
-Strut hazards, re-igntion concerns and long term monitoring.
