| Signal 73 Fire Training LLC launched the New Year with a strong start, delivering two impactful training presentations to fire departments in the Empire State this past Tuesday night.
Owner and Lead Instructor Josh Miller returned to the Irvington Fire Department to present his highly regarded lecture, “2½ Wood Goin’ Good,” which focuses on strategy and tactics for fires in legacy wood-frame construction. At the same time, Instructor Bryan Doyle brought his specialized knowledge on Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Lithium-Ion Battery incidents to a returning client, the Millwood Fire Department.
“Both departments have been excellent training partners, and we’re proud to support their ongoing commitment to firefighter education,” said Miller. “We design our programs to meet the real-world needs of today’s fire service.”
Signal 73’s lecture series continues to be an ideal option for drill nights and half-day training sessions. More courses are being introduced throughout the first quarter of 2026, offering departments across the region timely, relevant, and actionable training.
