On Saturday, students spent the day on learning basic elevator rescue techniques. The morning began with lecture, and then a full day of hands on.

We then traveled the first due and neighboring districts, to understand the types of elevators that are encountered. Opening doors, killing power, and removing people safely. Basic skills that all fire department personnel should know.
